The Sustainable Energy Transition (SDE +) subsidy consists of a fee per unit (kWh) of electricity generated for a period of 15 years. This government subsidy compensates for the difference between the cost price of regular and sustainable energy. This allows you to dispose of sustainable energy on the regular energy market.

Incentive Scheme for Sustainable Energy Production (SDE)

The SDE + subsidy supports companies and (non-profit) institutions in generating sustainable energy. And is divided into the categories Biomass, Geothermal energy, water, wind and sun.

The subsidy scheme reimburses the difference between the cost price of regular and sustainable energy. This is granted for a period of 15 + 1 years, whereby the subsidy is paid annually on the basis of the gross amount of energy generated.
